Wrongful conviction
Cases where the verdict is wrong, and the system has no interest in revisiting it.
A conviction becomes very hard to undo the moment it is final, however it was obtained. Withheld evidence, discredited forensic testimony, a single unreliable identification — none of it opens the door again by itself. Someone has to do the work.
We pair attorneys with cases that need post-conviction investigation, and we support the families who have usually been carrying the case alone for years before anyone with a licence looks at it.
Working on this already? Tell us where — we would rather connect you to people doing the same thing than start something parallel.
